MAMAEARTH
Couple Varun and Ghazal Alagh, who are married, founded the direct-to-consumer personal care business Mamaearth in India in 2016. The company uses only natural ingredients in none of its goods that are harmful. Honasa Consumer Limited is the parent business of Mamaearth.
In December 2021, Mamaearth achieved unicorn status following a $52 million fundraising round headed by Sequoia Capital. Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, began an initial public offering (IPO) on October 31, 2023, and it ended on November 2, 2023. A total of Rs 1,701.44 crore, or $204,300,408, was raised through the IPO.
